Launching our Flight PBL at Chabot

The students ran out of time exploring the Chabot Space and Science Museum. They looked through telescopes at stars, peered at the sun, learned how fast the earth was rotating (~1040 mph), and dropped a balloon two stories to see if they could build a device that would allow it to land on the target without breaking just like the landing of the Mars

rover.
